I Am Bridget
In order to go forward, sometimes you have to glance back.
As I take a slight glance back over my entire career, it all started in the 8th grade. I officially had my first working contract at the age of 13 years old. My 8th grade English teacher took me under her wings and would pick me up from my home and take me to her home to type documents. She was working on a project that has now in her absentia come to full fruition. Fate, time and space would have it that after working with her typing documents. I entered my 12th grade year with this program where we went to school half a day and worked half a day. My job assignment was at the Monroe City School Board. My supervisor at that time was a hard worker and so happened to be a former English Teacher (more on that nugget later). She saw that same skill set in me that my 8th grade English Teacher saw in me and she allowed me to not only work with her during the daytime, but during evenings and weekends I worked on projects through her private business.
During my side job with her, we worked on a variety of projects from political campaigns, event planning, proposal writing, etc. These first two opportunities set the pace and tone for my entire career all prior to graduating High School. I ended up working with her at the School Board office and with her private business all the way through graduating college.
I’ve had small businesses selling all types of products and services. Yet, I’ve done freelance writing and other document composition for over 30 years. There have been 3 English Teachers very early in my career that saw my writing ability. The third being my English 102 in College. This instructor had multiple talks with me regarding changing my major from Business to the English Department. Unfortunately for me, I did not see what she saw, nor did I listen to her wisdom.
Fate, time, space and a business degree later, I ended up in 2001 in my first role that landed me a 20 plus year career is Dallas/Fort Worth as a Technical/Proposal Writer. I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of contracting with Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies alike.
Since starting private consulting, I opted toward utilizing the knowledge gained from the larger organizations to start assisting small businesses as well. My ability to strategically think and compose those thoughts are invaluable to every client that I service.
My success hinges upon my ability to: Build. Recharge. Inspire. Drive. Grow. Empower. every customer/client with whom I connect.

All of the sessions were extremely beneficial. I am constantly transitioning with my job and the coaching sessions have helped make my transitions from city to city smoother. I also learned practical strategies on what to do when I’m feeling overwhelmed and how to ultimately manage each season of my life. Instead of looking at what is wrong or the negatives, I can now view them as opportunities for growth and innovation.
There’s another side of me that Fuels. Ignites. Refreshens. Engages. not only me, but through me to my mentees, coaching clients and audiences locally and abroad and that is my purpose, passion and plight toward studying, teaching and sharing the love of God.
I am Business, but I am also Ministry.
This side of The B.R.I.D.G.E.™™ works in tandem with all that I do and say.
It is the Jeremiah fire that runs all through my bones.
All venue settings are not conducive to utilizing the actual scriptures. There is a seamless way to impute values, strategies and other deliverables and being the example that the scripture talks about. I’ve done it successfully in Corporate America for over 20 years.
I’ve also had the privilege and pleasure of speaking at a myriad of conferences, workshops, seminars, and gatherings where the word of God was shared. Creativity is what I thrive on, the more creative and innovative the event, the more I am inspired, ignited and effective.
